After it has been deidentified, the information is no longer personal information and is not subject to this Privacy Policy.
III. Sources of Personal Information
We collect personal information directly from consumers when they interact with us. We also collect personal information from vendors and third parties, when they provide information to us. For example, we may receive names and addresses of potential donors from other organizations, and we may collect personal information from vendors and third parties to supplement or verify the accuracy of that contact information. We also collect personal information from vendors and third-party providers of cookies and other tracking technologies used on our Services.

We disclose the categories of personal information listed in Section I as detailed below:
To our vendors. We disclose personal information to our vendors who process personal information on our behalf, including vendors who provide website hosting, information technology and infrastructure, data analytics and modeling, email delivery, order fulfillment, auditing, payment processing, marketing and analytics services, and other services to us. We impose contractual limitations on our vendors’ use of personal information they collect in conjunction with providing services to us.
To third parties for marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties, such as third-party marketing and analytics providers, and other organizations for marketing purposes.
To third parties to facilitate our programming and fundraising. We will not disclose personal information to third parties to facilitate our programming and fundraising, except as described below:

If you make a donation to one of our online fundraising campaigns, you will be provided the opportunity to choose whether your name and the total amount you have raised is visible or kept private. If the campaign page is made public, your name and other information about your participation may be publicly-accessible.

If you make a donation by credit card or other electronic means (e.g., Venmo, Paypal), your personal information will be collected by the third-party payment processor/platform to facilitate your donation.

If you are a donor or prospective donor, we will not disclose your personal information, such as your name, address, and giving history, to third parties, such as marketing cooperatives, event sponsors, or other nonprofit and for-profit companies for any reason.

If you participate in programs we offer via your employer/organization, we will not disclose your participation and progress to your employer/organization.
Pursuant to a change of control. We will securely dispose of personal information, and will not disclose any personal information to a successor entity or purchaser upon a merger, consolidation, or other reorganization in which we participate, or a sale of all or a portion of our assets.

We may disclose personal information to protect our rights, defend or pursue a legal claim, investigate or prosecute illegal activities, comply with a subpoena, court order, governmental inquiry, legal process, or other legal obligation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, you, or any other consumers.
V. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not intended for children under age 13 and are not designed to attract the attention of anyone under age 13. Further, for compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under age 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have collected personal information from your child in error, please contact us immediately using our Contact Us page so that we can make reasonable efforts to promptly remove such personal information from our systems.

Our Services may contain links to websites and apps owned by other entities. If you decide to use these links, you will leave our Services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content provided by such third parties, and we make no representations or endorsements about them. VII. Security & Retention
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect consumers’ personal information, including encryption, firewalls, and password protection. Our servers are housed in an off-site, secured facility, and we require our employees and vendors to protect the privacy of personal information we collect and adhere to our Privacy Policy.
We retain personal information for the period reasonably necessary to provide our services to you, support our business operational purposes listed in Section II, and ensure compliance with applicable law.
VIII. Additional Disclosures for Certain U.S. Residents
This section provides disclosures applicable to residents of U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws that apply to Alegría: Palenque Preservation Project.
Data Subject Rights. Residents of some U.S. states have certain rights with respect to the processing of their personal information. Depending on your state of residence, these rights may include rights to access, correct, and delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain types of processing of personal information.
Alegría: Palenque Preservation Project does not share or sell any users’ personal information, which is only stored for corporate use (fundraising news, invitations, donation receipts, etc.). All guests and users, regardless of the state or country in which they reside, have the right to access, correct, and delete their personal information, to confirm whether or not their personal information is being processed by the organization, and to obtain their personal information in a portable format.
Exercising Data Subject Rights & Authorized Agents. If you wish to exercise your data subject rights, including the right to delete your Personal Data or any other applicable rights, please submit a request through our Contact Us form. Residents of some states may also authorize an agent to make data subject requests on your behalf. In such instances, authorized agents may use the same method as you to submit requests on your behalf. To verify your identity and protect your personal information, we may ask the requestor to provide information that will enable us to verify your identity in order to comply with your data subject request, such as asking your agent to provide proof of signed permission from you, or ask you to confirm with us directly that you provided the agent with permission to submit the request. In some instances, we may decline to honor your request if an exception applies under applicable law. We will respond to and grant your request consistent with applicable law.
Opt-Out Preference Signals. Residents of all U.S. states and all other countries may opt of out email notifications at any time by sending “STOP,” “QUIT,” “END,” “CANCEL,” “UNSUBSCRIBE,” or “STOP ALL” to any message from us. Your opt-in choice and consent to receive email messages from Alegría: Palenque Preservation Project will not be shared with third parties.
You may ask us to remove content or data that you have posted to the website by sending a request using our Contact Us page. Please note that your request does not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of the content or data as, for example, some of your content or data may have been reposted by another user.
Direct Marketing Disclosure for all guests and users. Alegría: Palenque Preservation Project does not share any users’ personal information with third parties for direct marketing purposes.

Creating Accounts and Communicating with Alegría: Palenque Preservation Project
When you sign up to take part in events, submit photographs or video, participate in online discussions or message boards, or purchase products you will be asked to create an account and provide a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
Registration data and other personal information you provide are subject to the Alegría: Palenque Preservation Project Privacy Policy.
When you communicate with Alegría: Palenque Preservation Project in any way, you may not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or mislead as to the origin of your communication. Using the MOD Sites and Submitting User Materials
At certain of the MOD Sites, you may post, upload, transmit (“Submit”) comments, messages, text, photographs, videos, or other content and materials (“User Materials”).
When you Submit any User Materials, you represent that such User Materials are unique to you or are used with permission of the copyright holder and you have received the permission of any person appearing in the photograph or video. User Materials submitted by users to the MOD Sites are the sole responsibility of the person who posts them and any opinions or views expressed are those of the individual users. You understand that you may be exposed to User Materials that may be offensive, indecent, or objectionable.
Alegría: Palenque Preservation Project does not control any User Materials, is not responsible for their accuracy, and is not liable in any way for such User Materials.
