How We Serve
Our online fundraising campaigns, "Mission: Preserve Palenque," continue to fund our programs. Our primary endeavor to fund the preservation of San Basilio de Palenque's way of life and cultural history museum is also called "Mission: Preserve Palenque."

Another program that directly funds our mission is Friends of Palenque, an Alegria: Palenque Preservation Project membership. Join Friends of Palenque for discounts on in-person or virtual tours of the village and museum, and artisan wares from Palenque. Memberships may be renewed annually.
Our our online shop will soon sell handmade items, art, candies, and products from San Basilio de Palenque, and all sales will directly support San Basilio de Palenque.

Check back for information on how to book an in-person or virtual tour of the San Basilio de Palenque village and museum. In-person tours are an exciting and enriching day trip from Cartagena! Our tour tickets will include breakfast, lunch, and transportation to and from Cartagena.
